Championship Game:
1965 marked the first year in which the Canadian Region encompassed all of Canada. Prior to that point, the champion of Western Canada advanced through the West Region tournament structure, while the Eastern Canada champion advanced to the World Series as the Canadian Region champion.
Stoney Creek defeated Valleyfield, Quebec 3-0 in the Eastern Canada championship game, while East Trail ousted Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan 16-1 in the Western Canada finals. More details on the Stoney Creek-East Trail game will be posted at a later date.
