Florida State Champions in the 1950s


A pair of teams from Florida's northern-most districts claimed the final two state titles in the 1950s. West Volusia won the first of its three state and bi-state titles in 1958, while Pensacola Civitan became the last panhandle league to win a state title until Panama City's R.L. Turner duplicated their feat in 1996.
