Summary:
Huntingdon used a pair of big innings to down Oil City and capture the 1966 Pennsylvania state title. Oil City scored first when Doug Grumbling singled and later scored on John Settlemire's single in the second inning, but Huntingdon came back with three second inning runs and tallied four more in the fourth. Huntingdon managed only two hits in each of its rallies, as a walk and three wild pitches aided the second inning rally and two walks and two errors keyed the fourth inning uprising. Huntingdon pitcher Terry Christopher allowed only three hits and struck out 12 batters.
