Format: Round robin tournament, with the first place team at the conclusion of round robin play winning the tournament championship. Tiebreaking games are held in the event of a tie for first place.

NOTE: In the final game of the tournament, Japan and Taiwan were tied 7-7 in the bottom of the sixth inning. Taiwan’s first two batters reached base, and the Japanese manager paid a visit to the mound. The plate umpire, who was the Guam team’s manager in the tournament, informed the Japan manager that this was his fourth visit to the mound in the game, and that he would need to change pitchers based on Little League rules.
The Japanese manager insisted that it was only his third visit to the mound, but the umpire disagreed and gave him two minutes to change pitchers. When the Japanese manager did not comply, the umpire declared the game over, and awarded the victory to Taiwan.
