Tournament Results:
Format: Pool competition tournament, with the top two teams in each pool advancing to the region finals.
NOTE: South Korea defeated Chinese Taipei, 2-0, in the Asia-Pacific Region championship game. Following the conclusion of the region tournament, Little League Baseball’s international tournament committee upheld a protest by Chinese Taipei, and determined that two East Seoul (A) players were ineligible for the tournament. The players had competed as part of East Seoul (B) Little League’s team in the South Korea national tournament, and were added to the East Seoul (A) team roster for the region tournament. East Seoul (A) and East Seoul (B) are different leagues that each draw from distinct geographic areas.
The international tournament committee reversed the results of all games involving South Korea to a 6-0 forfeit victory in favor of the opposing team. This decision gave Chinese Taipei a 6-0 victory in the championship game, and advanced Kuei-Shan Little League to the Little League World Series as the Asia-Pacific Region champion.

The top two teams in each pool advance to the region finals.
Ties are broken based on records in head-to-head competition among tied teams. If a clear winner cannot be determined from head-to-head results, the tie is broken by calculating the runs allowed ratio for all teams involved in the tie. Runs allowed ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of runs allowed in all games by six. (The runs allowed are divided by six irrespective of the actual number of defensive innings a team played.)
The team with the lowest runs allowed ratio advances. If the tied teams are competing for multiple spots in the tournament's next phase, all ties are broken based on runs allowed ratio.
