Europe-Africa Region Tournament
Host – Brabant Bandits Baseball (Moergestel, Netherlands)
At The Roef! Field

NOTE: On May 18, 2022, Little League Baseball announced that it was relocating the Europe-Africa Region tournaments for the Little League Baseball and Junior League Baseball divisions from their traditional home at Little League’s European Little League Leadership Center in Kutno, Poland. Little League instead hosted a group of softball players and coaches seeking refuge from Ukraine following Russia’s invasion of that country in February 2022. Little League was approached by a Ukrainian softball coach inquiring about hosting players at its facility, which is located roughly 250 miles (402 kilometers) from the Poland-Ukraine border. Little League officials then worked with the Polish government to facilitate the process. The Junior League Baseball region tournament was relocated to Modena, Italy.

Little League also invited a combined all-star team from three Ukrainian leagues to compete in the region tournament, despite the leagues not fielding regular season teams and the players being scattered due to the situation in their homeland. The team was coached by three female Ukrainian volunteers as adult males were not permitted to leave the country during the war.

NOTE: With the COVID-19 pandemic still impacting health regulations in many countries, Little League did not host the qualifier tournament that it had used in recent Europe-Africa Region tournaments, and instead all nine European country representatives participating in the international tournament advanced directly to the region tournament.
