Pennsylvania State Champions in the 1970s
Little League Baseball Division (Ages 10-12)

Connellsville became the first repeat winner in Pennsylvania since the early 1960s, when Connellsville pocketed consecutive titles in 1963 and 1964. The Western Pennsylvania powerhouse then won an unprecedented third consecutive Pennsylvania title in 1978. Four teams -- North Braddock, Connellsville (1978), Jessup's Carbino Club, and DuBois -- came within a game of qualifying for the Little League World Series.
