Virginia District 2 Champions
Little League Baseball Division (Ages 10-12)

Virginia leagues were first organized into districts in 1952, and the boundaries of these districts changed regularly in the next few years as the number of chartered leagues in the state expanded. In this era, Virginia was typically organized into three or four districts, and in many cases, leagues from Virginia and West Virginia competed alongside one another in district or sectional tournaments.

In 1958, Virginia established the precursor to its current district structure, and six districts were formed. District 2 originally bisected the state from North to South, and encompassed an area that extended from Danville and Roanoke through Lynchburg and Charlottesville. In 1973, District 12 (Roanoke area) was split off into a separate district, and in 1994, District 14 (Charlottesville and surrounding counties in Northern Virginia) was also split from District 2.

Today, District 2 encompasses nine counties in Southside Virginia, and is centered in the Danville and Lynchburg areas.

Teams listed in bold also won a Virginia or combined Virginia/West Virginia state tournament.
