Fall River's 11-run fourth inning outburst erased a 4-1 Danvers American lead in the title game. Jeff Rice's first-inning homer -- his second in as many days -- gave Danvers American a 3-0 first inning lead, but Fall River American sent 14 batters to the plate in the fourth, and scored 11 times on just four hits. Third baseman Mike Abgrab blasted a grand slam home run, and Dave White also homered in the inning. Fall River American's rally was helped by six walks and two Danvers errors. Winning pitcher Steve Frank scattered six hits while picking up the complete game victory.
